Beach: North of Phuket -
Stunning Beaches, Six-Star Development.
Coming to be known as the "Hamptons
of Phuket", the NaTai Beach area is the upscale bedroom
community of Phuket's wealthy expatriate community. AND
- with good reason.
NaTai Beach is actually closer to
Phuket International Airport than Phuket Town or the
tourist centers to the south. It doesn't have all the
overdevelopment issues associated with the Patong, Karon,
and Kata Beach areas. And, most likely, it won't in the
future either. No doubt the very upscale resorts and
homeowners will work to protect the value of the area.
Most
of the beachfront property in the area is already
developed or planned for development as villa estates -
thus limiting the number of resorts - and people that
will be on the beaches when you are there.

during high season - you can see how uncrowded the
beaches are!

typical of the upscale development going on there.
The photo below shows the row of
"Malibu" style multi-million dollar housing that is
going up right now.
The south end of this beach,
closest to Phuket, is sometimes called Pilai Beach.
Check the area out - get to know it
- and you will find Thailand, Phuket, Phang-Nga and
Paradise - at its best. Come on down!
